This fun and pretty cake is extremely easy to make and tastes absolutely divine. The kid's will love the look and taste of their doughnut stack birthday cake.

Ingredients

12 cinnamon doughnuts

1 453g tub vanilla frosting

pink and green food colouring

65 gram white sprinkles

65 gram pink sprinkles

Method

1.Place doughnuts on a wire rack over an oven tray. Divide frosting among two microwave-safe bowls, tint one pink and one green.

2.Heat pink frosting in a microwave oven on HIGH (100%) for 15 seconds or until frosting is of a runny consistency. Spoon frosting over half the doughnuts. Repeat with green frosting and remaining doughnuts. Decorate pink doughnuts with white sprinkles and green doughnuts with pink sprinkles.

3.Stack doughnuts on a cake stand or cake board.

EQUIPMENT 25cm (10-inch) round cake board wire rack oven tray For an even faster cake, buy a variety of iced doughnuts in different colours, and secure them together with a little of the vanilla frosting.
