1.In medium saucepan, melt butter over moderate heat; cook garlic, stirring, until fragrant. Add rice; cook, stirring, 1 minute. Add chicken stock and water; bring to the boil. Reduce heat; simmer, covered, about 20 minutes or until rice is tender. Remove from heat; fluff rice with fork. Stir in parsley and almonds. Season to taste.
