Is there a more classic cocktail than the martini? With this recipe we've gone all 007 with a gin martini, shaken not stirred, one olive added.

1 rinsed seeded green olive

2/3 cup cocktail glass

1 cup ice cubes

45 millilitre (1½-fluid ounces) gin

Method

1.Place 1 small rinsed seeded green olive and a dash of dry vermouth into chilled ²/³-cup cocktail glass; swirl vermouth in glass to coat.

2.Place 1 cup ice cubes and 45ml (1½-fluid ounces) gin in cocktail shaker; shake vigorously. Strain into glass.
