Rocky road

There's nothing like a piece of homemade rocky road, and the best thing is that you can play around with the ingredients, adding more or less of your favourite bits or choosing to use a different type of nut.

Ingredients

500 gram milk or dark chocolate pieces

200 gram marshmallows, cut in half

300 gram turkish delight

1/2 cup nuts (either peanuts, pistachio kernels or almonds)

Method

1.Line a baking tray with greaseproof paper. Heat a saucepan of simmering water, then place a stainless steel bowl over the top and add chocolate. Stir until melted.

2.In a large bowl, mix the other ingredients together then pour over the melted chocolate.

3.Put the mixture into the trays and press down gently. Refrigerate until set, then cut into slab.
